Privacy Policy
We are committed to data minimization, privacy protection, and transparent processing of authorized Amazon marketplace operational metrics.
1. Overview and Scope
This Privacy Policy outlines how Amazon Seller BI (“we”, “our”, “us”, or “the Platform”) collects, uses, processes, and protects information when you access or use our software-as-a-service analytics platform.
Amazon Seller BI is an independent analytics application designed for sellers operating on Amazon marketplaces. We are committed to transparency, data minimization, and industry-leading security practices in compliance with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Data We Collect and Sources
We collect and process the following categories of information:
- Account & Profile Information: When you register for an account, we collect user credentials (email address, full name, hashed passwords) and workspace configuration settings (organization name, default currency, time zone).
- Seller-Authorized Amazon Marketplace Data: When you connect your Amazon seller account via official Amazon SP-API OAuth authorization, we retrieve non-PII operational records, including:
- Order identifiers, purchase dates, item SKUs, ASINs, item quantities, order statuses, and price totals.
- Amazon fulfillment fees, referral fees, closing fees, storage fees, and settlement transactions.
- Sponsored Advertising metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, attributed sales, ROAS, ACOS).
- Inventory quantities and fulfillment center receiving records.
- Customer return line items, reason codes, and SAFE-T reimbursement records.
- Seller-Configured Business Data: Information entered directly by you, such as unit manufacturing costs (COGS), shipping freight expenses, and operating overhead expenses.
- Technical & Usage Telemetry: Log data regarding browser type, IP address, device telemetry, timestamps, and page interactions used to ensure service reliability, prevent fraud, and maintain audit trails.
3. Strict Zero-PII Guarantee
Amazon Seller BI strictly operates under a Zero-PII storage policy. We do not request, ingest, parse, store, or display Personally Identifiable Information (PII) belonging to Amazon marketplace buyers. This includes buyer real names, postal shipping addresses, phone numbers, tax IDs, and payment instrument details.
4. How We Use Collected Data
We process collected data exclusively to provide our business intelligence services, including:
- Calculating real-time gross revenue, fee deductions, and net profitability.
- Generating SKU-level economics, break-even thresholds, and inventory cost tracking.
- Reconciling financial settlement batches with Amazon bank disbursements.
- Providing advertising efficiency and TACOS analytics.
- Maintaining system security, investigating potential anomalies, and enforcing platform terms.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or monetize your store data, sales volumes, or SKU margins to any third parties or advertisers under any circumstances.
5. Data Storage, Isolation & Security
Your data is secured through modern enterprise-grade cryptographic controls:
- Encryption In-Transit: All communication between your browser and our infrastructure is strictly enforced over TLS 1.3.
- Encryption At-Rest: Database stores, backups, and caching layers are encrypted at rest using AES-256 standards.
- Multi-Tenant Isolation: Organizational records are isolated logically with strict tenant filtering at the database layer.
- Token Security: Amazon SP-API refresh tokens are encrypted using envelope encryption with dedicated secrets management.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your authorized operational data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide our analytics services. If you disconnect your Amazon seller account or request account termination, your stored synchronization tokens and cached marketplace records will be permanently purged from active databases within thirty (30) days, in accordance with the Amazon SP-API Data Protection Policy.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We may utilize trusted infrastructure vendors (such as cloud hosting and database providers) to support platform operations. All service providers are bound by strict data protection agreements and are prohibited from accessing your operational data for any independent purpose.
8. User Rights & Data Control
Depending on your location, you hold rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, rectify, export, or request the deletion of your account data. You may also revoke Amazon SP-API authorization at any time directly through your Amazon Seller Central “Manage Your Apps” dashboard.
